Book on Tape
I am really dating myself with this one. I still refer to audiobooks as “books on tape”. There are few favorites I’ve read in every media. “The Girl Who Loves Tom Gordon” by Stephen King, I own in hard back, soft back and audio (I’ve actually had to buy it twice, on CD and digital).

I have no idea what prompted this. It think it was the pun of “How to Maim Friends and Terrify People” and the cruel book evolved from there.

Could you tweet a demon? And would it respond? Perhaps if you added some appropriate hashtags and emoticons. I often wonder how technology affects things like magic and how we can transform the old into the new.

Belief Case
Did you forget to pack something?
What if all the things you believed in could be bundled up and shoved inside of one suitcase. But there was limited space. What beliefs would make the cut and what would be left at home. Each time you step out into the world, you tote around your luggage of beliefs, a way to make the world make sense.
Do you tend to congregate with others who packed the same things? I does make us all a lot more comfortable. Yet the scariest part is opening up your belief-case for someone else to see. It’s like baring your soul.
