Tarot Book Trailer
I worked for over two months drawing and coloring the panels you see in this trailer. I wanted it to be as special as the book. However, I was daunted by the music. I’m no musician. However, if it were silent, or had canned music, that would undermine all the hard work I put into the animation. Bradley Coy came to my rescue. I find it so perfect that I was drawn to this book and giveaway. I used to read tarot in my 20s. But as my children were born, I became afraid to read. I don’t understand why it scared me – and probably it was my lack of understanding and confusion that scared me the most. My children are grown now – and I find myself drawn back to wanting to read – maybe because, now my children are grown, I want to find my way. I also want to start reading again in an effort to maybe help others who are feeling lost. I’m babbling on… there’s also something about the Steampunk Tarot that I’m drawn to. The artwork and the female figures – so strong, confident, yet still feminine… Yes – so I’m compelled to enter this giveaway. Should I win, it’s meant to be. Well I certainly hope you win. (I use a random generator, but perhaps the fates are with you). I too used to be more into divination, but then life intervened. I feel people fear the Tarot more than any other divination tool. I’m going to write a myths and misconceptions about them as a blog post. Maybe explain to people that there’s nothing to fear.
