I think this is one of those times where it’s the subtext of the action that it so draining. That said, congrats on getting that interest. I’ll have my fingers crossed for you.

I can relate. I think we tend to over-think such things, imposing our own doubts on what we imagine the reader might think about our writing. Time, now, to quiet that ‘noise’ in your head. Good luck! π
